Building 15 (Private Observatory): Completed 9/15/2022

​Recently, Building 15 (our 9th private observatory) was approved by the county.  Construction of Building 15 began August 1, 2022.  

These small observatories can house up to a 28" telescope (in Alt-Az) or 20" telescope in Eq mode.   

Location for Building 15 (Private Observatory): This will be our 9th private observatory.

Sequence of Construction

August 5, 2022: Foundation piers placed for the new 10x12 foot private observatory.

August 20, 2022: Side view of new private observatory, with roof wheels and rails placed.

September 15, 2022: Front view of private observatory with stairs and landing. Completed September 15, 2022.
